DANZA
Amaury Viduvier - Ensemble Virtuoso
Listening to his impeccable technique and meticulous phrasing, it's easy to see that the young clarinettist, a member of the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine since 2013, is starting to make a name for himself in the places that count.

"Rediscovering classical music through its influences from around the world, that's how I imagined this show. In this journey around my instrument, the clarinet, let yourself be carried away by a musical adventure across countries and composers ." A. Viduvier
Danza was created to celebrate music, whether it be classical, traditional or simply a symbol of cultural identity, and make it accessible to a wide audience. This show invites spectators on a journey across eras, traditions and countries through a joyous and inspiring musical universe.
Amaury Viduvier's virtuoso clarinet and his string ensemble invite the audience to take a place at the heart of a unique musical journey, from an opera house where they will admire the seductive Carmen to a traditional wedding in an Eastern European village, stopping by a lively evening in a Buenos Aires café or a dance party imbued with klezmer music!
This musical world tour seeks to bring audiences together around what defines us as human beings: the expression of a musical identity passed on by our ancestors since the dawn of time, whether transcribed by classical music composers in world famous works (such as Vivaldi's La Notte) or passed on orally through traditional music (klezmer, Latin, gypsy...).
The programme for this show places music at the centre of all the arts. It becomes the means of expression for dance (Piazzolla's Libertango), cinema (Brahms's Hungarian Dance, a tribute to Charlie Chaplin's silent films, or Barber's Adagio, used as the soundtrack to numerous films), or even the simple personification of nature (Piazzolla's Primavera Portena or the fado song Noite). Music is portrayed as a unifying symbol that goes beyond human boundaries.
This one-hour show is aimed at all audiences, initiates and neophytes alike, who will be transported into a virtuoso and colourful musical whirlwind, swept along by the dazzling personality of clarinettist Amaury Viduvier and his musicians.
