Recognized early for the beauty and range of her voice, whose richness and flexibility allow her to perform Monteverdi as well as Berlioz, Rossini, or Tchaikovsky, Eva Zaïcik cultivates a great musical diversity, favoring the boldest explorations alongside leading musicians. She has thus established herself as one of the most remarkable singers of her generation.

In 2018, she won Second Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition as well as Second Prize at the Voix Nouvelles Competition, before being named Lyric Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique Classique. Her career was already considerable at that point, having led her to collaborate with leading conductors, to name just a few: William Christie (she was a member of Le Jardin des Voix 2017), Thomas Hengelbrock, Vincent Dumestre, Hervé Niquet, Christophe Rousset, Julien Chauvin, not to mention Philippe Herreweghe, Laurence Equilbey, Emmanuelle Haïm, René Jacobs, and Alain Altinoglu.

She quickly took on roles such as Carmen and Olga (Eugene Onegin, Tchaikovsky), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia, Rossini), and Sélysette (Ariane et Barbe-Bleue, Dukas) at the Capitole de Toulouse, Venus in Campra's Idoménée at the Lille and Berlin Operas, and Paulina in Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades in Nice and Toulon. At the Opéra de Dijon, she performed La Sagesse and Lucinde in Lully's Armide with Vincent Dumestre. Her debut at the Theater an der Wien was in Handel's Belshazzar (the role of Daniel) under the direction of Christina Pluhar. She also made her debut in Baden-Baden in the role of Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana with Thomas Hengelbrock (recording for Prospero Records).
In concert, Eva has sung Berio's Folk Songs and excerpts from Mahler's Kindertotenlieder with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra at the Festival de Saint-Denis, Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été under the direction of Michael Schønwandt, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis with Philippe Herreweghe and the Collegium Vocale Gent, and Mozart's Requiem with the Munich Philharmonic, again alongside Philippe Herreweghe.

In recent seasons, Eva has particularly shone in the role of Cretidea (L'Uomo Femina by Galuppi, staged by Agnès Jaoui) with Le Poème Harmonique. She sang Bruckner's Mass No. 3 with Thomas Hengelbrock and the Munich Philharmonic, and Beethoven's Missa Solemnis with the Balthazar Neumann Ensemble. She joined Emmanuelle Haïm for Handel's Dixit Dominus with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and took part in the reopening concerts of Notre-Dame de Paris. Gasparini's L'Avare with Le Poème Harmonique, staged by Théophile Gasselin, proved a tremendous success throughout France. Mozart has held a prominent place in her repertoire: the Great Mass in C minor with Le Concert de la Loge, and the Requiem with the Monteverdi Choir, the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique, and Pablo Heras-Casado. Other highlights include Wagner's Wesendonck-Lieder with Leopold Hager; Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortilèges with Alain Altinoglu; Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle with Thomas Hengelbrock and the Balthazar Neumann Ensemble; and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with Sascha Goetzel and the Orchestre des Pays de la Loire.

The 2026/2027 season confirms Eva's ongoing artistic partnerships. With Thomas Hengelbrock, she will perform successively Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été, Beethoven's concert aria "Ah! Perfido" (Orchestre de Chambre de Paris), and Haydn's Scena di Berenice (Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin). In addition to numerous concerts and a revival of Gasparini's L'Avare with Le Poème Harmonique, she will reunite with Philippe Herreweghe, the Collegium Vocale Gent, and the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées for a major tour with Mozart's Great Mass in C minor. Of special note is her role as Cherubino in a concert performance of Le Nozze di Figaro at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, as well as Bach's Mass in B minor with Jonathan Cohen and Arcangelo at the BBC Proms, not to mention the St. Matthew Passion conducted by Daniel Reuss in the Netherlands and excerpts from Carmen in Tokyo with Pierre Dumoussaud.

Among her exciting discography on the Alpha Classics label, of which she is an exclusive artist, particular mention should go to the album Mayrig, devoted to Armenian music, and Rebelle, a monograph dedicated to Célestine Galli-Marié, the creator of the role of Carmen, recorded with the Orchestre National de Lille and Pierre Dumoussaud.
