Denis Pascal, piano
Alexandre Pascal, violin
Aurélien Pascal, cello
With the Pascal family, music is a family affair. We no longer present the father, Denis Pascal, an exceptional pianist who initiated a cycle of Schubert recordings for the La Música label and one of the most esteemed teachers at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, nor his son Aurélien Pascal, one of the brightest stars of the new generation of French cellists, who in 2014 was awarded First Prize and Audience Prize at the Berlin Feuermann Competition - among others! - and who delivered a CD "All'Ungarese" (La Música) full of character alongside pianist Paloma Kouider last year. But the family also includes a violinist, Alexandre Pascal, one year older than Aurélien, Révélation Classique ADAMI and laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation, who worked with Olivier Charlier at the CNSM before perfecting his skills with Augustin Dumay at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Chapel.
These family ties are a great guarantee of complicity and musical osmosis for three exceptional instrumentalists, who naturally know how to express themselves with the same voice to thrill the audience.
